Welcome

We have set up this website in order to make a record of our adveture and also for friends and family to keep an eye on what we’re getting up to. The site may also be of interest to anyone who enjoys sailing and living aboard a sailing yacht in the med.

In March 2006 we moved out of our 2 bedroom bungalow in sunny Marske-By-Sea (near Middlesbrough) with plans of a sailing expedition beginning at Whitby, North Yorkshire, to then set sail down the east coast, across the channel, through the French canals and visit various parts of the Balearics and Spain

‘Moonlighting’ – a 36’ Hunter Legend 36 yacht became our home by mid April and this is where it all begins………….
